About Founder

Laxmi Sorte

“Growing up in India, I was familiar with yoga and spiritual practices. But it was during the pandemic lockdown that I truly embraced yoga as a lifestyle change. Through regular practice, I developed a deeper connection with my body, realizing its incredible capabilities and the importance of nurturing it. I further deepened my practice by obtaining a certification from Rishikesh, India, a hub of yoga and spiritual learning.
My teachers, who have become like mentors to me, constantly encourage me to explore the philosophy of yoga, pushing me to delve deeper into its ancient wisdom. This journey has not only transformed my practice but has also inspired me to share my knowledge with others. I’m excited to continue growing, learning, and sharing the power of yoga with my community.”

Sacred Art: Exploring the intersection of spirituality and creativity

Why I practice Art and Yoga both
I am a trained Thangka Artist, specializing in spiritual and mindfulness-themed paintings and murals. My artistic journey began at the esteemed:

Center for Living Buddhist Art
Founded by Master Locho and Dr. Sarika Singh
Located in Himachal Pradesh, India
This revered institution nurtured my skills and deepened my understanding of Thangka Art, allowing me to harmoniously merge traditional techniques with contemporary themes and ideas.

My Artistic Expression
Through my artwork, I strive to capture the essence of spirituality and mindfulness, creating pieces that inspire and uplift others. My paintings and murals serve as a reminder to cultivate inner peace, compassion, and awareness in our fast-paced world.
